Sustainability starts with Deconstruction.
Whether you're a contractor or a homeowner looking for "green" options. Deconstruction is the environmentally friendly alternative to demolition.
What is Deconstruction?
Deconstruction is the environmentally friendly alternative to demolition, in which skilled crews carefully dismantle a structure by hand, preserving the building materials in a usable state and keeping them out of the landfills. These materials are brought to our warehouse, where they are cleaned, organized, and made available for purchase and reuse!
Are you planning on rebuilding or remodeling your home? You may not want your old building materials, but there is still a lot of potential value in them, and our deconstruction team can usually salvage up to 85%! Your unwanted building materials will have a chance to be reused, rather than thrown away, and you will receive a tax-deductible donation receipt for their full value.

Why choose Deconstruction?
-
Preserves historically significant materials.
Such as, these 100 year old stained glass windows from Benedictine University.
-
Saves you time.
For many projects, our crew can come to you and pick up or extract materials, saving you the time and hassle of handling the materials yourself.
-
Reduces environmental impact.
Reuse saves the embodied energy, natural resources, and pollution of producing new items.
-
Saves you money.
Materials that are no longer serving you, are costing you- demo charges, dumpster fees, and storage costs add up.
-
Open to the public.
Donated materials get put right back into the hands of people who will reuse them, the community.
-
Saves value.
Just because your materials aren't working for you, doesn't mean they won't work for someone else. Finding that value and making those connections is what our business is about.
